From the stairs of Vimperk to the world series.

He started racing downhill at thirteen and moved to city courses at sixteen. Today he is 26 and lines up at the world series.

He trains on the steep streets and stairs of his home town, and adds pumptrack, motocross and road riding. Tomáš Slavík, his idol, helps with preparation.

Pumptrack ve Vimperku za soumraku, osvětlený třemi lampami

At home in Vimperk.

Tomáš helped shape the Vimperk pumptrack, the second largest in the country. It opened on 23 June 2026. He tested the lines on clay before the asphalt came.

People use it and there is real demand. It also supports downhill sport, because Vimperk finally has a place to train.

New bike. New season.

Tomáš now rides a Ghost, a bike brand from Germany built for hard terrain. Stairs, cobbles and ramps at speed ask a lot of a frame.

A bike that holds up to whatever the city throws at it.
